There’s never any new reporting on the Ron Paul newsletters. It’s just journalists going, “AHEM, this is old news, but he’s still the worst!” and then libertarians getting huffy.
Even better is the idea that never having read the newsletters that were published under your name and reportedly generated $940,000+ for you and your associate Lew Rockwell constitutes a strong defense of your character and management ability. It’s exactly the kind of Reagan-esque leadership — Iran Contra Reagan, not Morning in America Reagan — that the Republican Party is looking for these days.
He did read them, years after they were created. Where is all that money he supposedly got? Tell me, why is it that you have to go back 30 years to discredit the man? Never mind that these aren’t even real - they are completely inconsistent with everything he has ever said. There is no reason to trust such things.
